Pawnee softball routs Tonkawa; Frontier swept in Ripley Tournament

TONKAWA, Okla. —

Drummond also beat Shidler 2-0 to advance to one of the championship games at 2 p.m. Saturday against the winner of Pool 3.  Shidler will face the runners-up of Pool 3 at noon on Saturday for third place. Dover won Pool 2 with a 7-0 victory over Oilton and a 7-3 victory over Preston. At 4 p.m. Saturday, Dover will face the Ripley-Mulhall-Orlando winner for the other championship game. The winner of Preston and Oilton will play the loser of Ripley and M-O at 10 a.m. Saturday for third place.

The Mustangs (5-15) hope to find another opponent for Monday after Mulhall-Orlando canceled. If it is unable to find someone, Frontier will play against Drummond and Fort Cobb-Broxton in the district tournament at Drummond on Thursday.
