STILLWATER, Okla. —
The Oklahoma State University men’s basketball team and the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are looking to even it’s conference record Wednesday in Stillwater.
The Cowboys opened conference Saturday with a 73-67 loss to the No. 25 Kansas State Wildcats. TCU lost its Big 12 opener 62-53 to Texas Tech. Wednesday will be Oklahoma State’s first meeting with the Horned Frogs since the 2005 Las Vegas Invitational, when the Cowboys were coached by Eddie Sutton. The Pokes lead the overall series 17-2.
This season isn’t the first that OSU and TCU have been in the same conference. In 1923 to 1925 both teams were members of the Southwest Conference. Then-Oklahoma A&M won three of four matchups.
