Britney Morgan of Pawnee scored 19 points in leading the East team to a 72-53 victory over the West in the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State small school game Wednesday night at the Mabee Center.
Frontier’s Hope Conneywerdy added three points for the East.
Tonight the All-State boys game will be held in the same arena, with Ralston Moore and Kyle Klaus of Pawnee playing for the East.
Also Monday at Bixby, three Stillwater athletes competed in the All-State swimmeet. Clayton Harris finished second in all four of his events, the 200-meter individual medley (2 minutes, 31.41 seconds), 100 freestyle (1:01.28), 200 freestyle relay (1:52.53) and 400 freestyle relay (4:29.42).
Rachel Fieldsend finished second on the East ‘A’ relay team in the 200 freestyle relay (2:05.26) and 400 freestyle relay (4:51.85). She also placed third in the 200 free (2:32.53) and fourth in the 100 free (1:09.57).
Darci Thomas swam to second in the 100 breaststroke (1:24.11) and third in the 400 free (5:15). Her East ‘B’ team was third in the 200 free relay (2:10.95), and her East ‘A’ team came in second in the 200 medley relay (2:16.96).
