— ADA, Okla. (AP) — A 39-year-old Allen man has received a 150-year prison term for sexually molesting a child.
A Pontotoc County convicted Lawrence Stewart June 2 on charges including rape and child molestation. The panel recommended 25 years each on two counts of lewd molestation; 25 years for first-degree rape by instrumentation; 20 years for forcible oral sodomy; 30 years for sexual abuse of a child and 25 years for first-degree rape.
Assistant District Attorney Jim Tillison says Stewart was accused of sexually abusing a child over a two-year period.
He says Stewart must serve at least 85 percent (127.5 years) of his sentence before he is eligible for release.
Stewart's attorney, Bill Smith, couldn't be reached for comment on Friday.
