NEW: Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Kay, Noble and Payne counties

STILLWATER, Okla. — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 11:30 p.m.

for Kay, Noble and Payne counties.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND
  DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. 

THE WARNING AREA INCLUDES INTERSTATE 35 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 158 and 218
