NEW: Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Payne County

— The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 8:45 p.m. for Payne County,

The storm, capable of producing winds of more than 60 mph and hail the size of half dollars, was at Langston just before 8 p.m., moving east at 15 mph. Locations impacted include Stillwater, Perkins, Ripley and Lake Carl Blackwell.
