Caroline Eich married Jordan Riddle

Caroline Ouida Eich and Jordan Michael Riddle were married Jan. 5, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, S.C. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Dr. Sinclair Ferguson. A reception followed in the church’s historic Jackson Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Elizabeth Eich of Columbia, S.C.  She is the granddaughter of Robert and Caroline Hellams and the late Harold and Ouida Eich of Columbia, S.C. She is a 2007 graduate of Ben Lippen High School in Columbia and a December 2011 graduate of Oklahoma State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science, emphasis in animal biotechnology and a minor in zoology.  She was a member of OSU’s NCAA Equestrian team for 4 1/2 years.  She was previously a working student at Deerwood Farm, a dressage training barn, in Ocala, Fla., and most recently worked as a zookeeper intern at Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Columbia, S.C.  She will be continuing internship training at the Oklahoma City Zoo, and is pursuing a career as a zookeeper.

The groom is the son of Michael and Sharon Riddle of Enid. He is the grandson of Donnie and Patsy Jackson and Earline Riddle and the late Mr. Robert Riddle, all of Hennessey. He is a 2006 graduate of Kremlin-Hillsdale High School in Kremlin and a December 2012 graduate of OSU, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in wildlife ecology and management. He previously worked as a seasonal biological technician at Oklahoma’s  Chickasaw National Recreational Area and is employed by Environmental Management, Inc. in Guthrie.  

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Rebecca Eich Jones, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bride’s attendants were Randi Lanae Riddle Bowman, sister of the groom, Jessie Brothers, Kaitlyn Nagel, Hannah Stevenson and Annie Williamson.   

Colby Bachman served as best man. The groomsmen were Matthew Fort Eich, brother of the bride, Brian Eyster, Dakota Gaff, Brandon Martin and Pete Streck. Timothy Mason Eich, brother of the bride, assisted as usher.

After a wedding trip to Linville, N.C., the couple will live in Edmond.
