Cortney Kay Hicks of Tempe, Ariz., and James “Aaron” Loui of Phoenix, Ariz., were married Oct. 18 at the Scottsdale Cottonwood Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz. Terry Singleton, minister of the Mesa Church of Christ, officiated the ceremony.
Wedding attendants included the bride’s brother, Brad Hicks of Norman, and the groom’s sister, Michal Mathers of Phoenix, Ariz.
The bride and groom spent their honeymoon in Prescott, Ariz., and celebrated recently with a cruise to Mexico.

The bride, originally from Mt. Pleasant, Texas, is the daughter of Britt and Mona Hicks of Guymon. She earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a master’s degree in college student development from Oklahoma State University. She is a coordinator of undergraduate student engagement at Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz.
The groom is the son of Jim and Pam Loui of Apache Junction, Ariz. He earned a doctorate’s degree from the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. He practices pharmacy in Phoenix, Ariz.
