Denise Ann Hart and Adam Starr Arterbery were married at 5 p.m. May 25 in Wickham Park, Manchester, Conn. Pastor Michellee Speirs officiated the marriage. A reception followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Phil and Sharon Hart of Branford, Conn. The groom is the son of Rinda Starr-Alsip and Danny Alsip of Chandler and Paul and Carol Arterbery of Stillwater.
Erica Gedrim served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Hart, cousin of the bride, Amanda Giorando and Tina Meyers.
The best man was Andy Arterbery, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brady Hollingsworth and McCord Cox, graduates of Stillwater High School, and Joel Scanlon of Denver.
The groom’s niece, Audra Alsip, was the flower girl and the groom’s nephew, Dalton Alsip, was the ring bearer.
After their wedding trip to Hawaii, the newlyweds reside in Connecticut where the bride is pursuing a doctorate degree and is employed as a sixth-grade teacher at Turkey Hill School in Orange, Conn. The groom earned a doctorate in molecular neurobiology and is developing stem cell research in the department of pediatrics at Yale University in New Haven, Conn.
