Clara Rowden marries Steve Whiteley

Clara Rowden of Claremore and Steve Whiteley of Stillwater married May 5 at the Hollis Gardens in Lakeland, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Katherine Rowden of Claremore. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2006 with a B.S. in biosystems engineering. She is a project engineer for Cameron in Houston, Texas.

The groom is the son of Rob and Ann Whiteley of Stillwater. He graduated from the University of Texas in 2005 with a B.S. in chemical engineering. He is an operations engineer for Harvest Pipeline in Houston.

Attending the bride were Vanessa Rowden and Myrriah Rowden, sisters of the bride. The groom’s attendants were Brian Lipscomb, best man, and Linda Whiteley, the groom’s sister. Pastor Jim Reed officiated.

A reception followed the ceremony at Terrace Hotel in Lakeland, Fla. The couple lives in Houston.
