STILLWATER, Okla. — • Markes-Doughty

Jared Markes wed Sarah Doughty at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2011, in the Courtyard of The Silo Center in Tulsa before the Rev. Mark Whitley.

The bride is the daughter of Roger and Shirley Doughty and the granddaughter of Morgan Eavenson, Stillwater. The groom is the son of Kenny Markes, Bison, and Lisa Markes, Enid.

Maids of honor were Summer Doughty, Tulsa, and Megan Doughty, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Groomsmen were Jake Markes, Bison, and Michael Matousek, Stillwater.

Junior bridesmaids were Morgan and Hope Stafford, Cape Girardeau, Mo. Flower girls were Mackenna Markes and Rylee Thedford, Bison.

Reception attendants were Lacey Markes and Emily Ott, both of Waukomis.

The couple honeymooned on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, and will live in Owasso.

The bride graduated in 2005 from Stillwater High School and in 2009 from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in statistics and math. She is an analyst in corporate procurement for Conoco-Phillips in Bartlesville. The groom graduated in 2004 from Pioneer High School near Bison and in 2008 from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He is an application engineer for Zeeco in Broken Arrow.
