Katherine “Kate” Herrick Bosworth married Daniel Edison Romero April 28, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church in Glen Cove, N.Y., with Pastor Elisabeth Simpson officiating.

The bride’s parents are former 40-year Stillwater residents, John and Susan Bosworth, now living in Normal, Ill.

The groom’s parents are Pedro and Lily Romero, Lindenhurst, N.Y.

Bride's attendants included two Stillwater High School graduates Alison Warden, SHS Class of 1991, and Karyn Tweeten Bosworth, SHS Class of 1989. Others were Jennifer Sanborn, Dan-Thanh Ton-That, Magdalena Romero and Lily Romero Burnicke.

Groom's attendants included SHS graduates Matthew Bosworth, SHS Class of 1987, and Joseph Bosworth, SHS Class of 1988.  Other groomsmen were Martin Romero, Pedro A. Romero, Bill Burnicke, Tim Caruso and Joe Esquenazi.

Ringbearer was Marshall Bosworth and the flower girls were Janelle Bosworth and Olivia Burnicke.

The bride was born and raised in Stillwater, graduating from SHS in 1991. She earned her bachelor’s degree in visual art from Brown University in Providence, R.I., in 1997, and worked as a photographer for the Stillwater NewsPress from 1997-1998. She worked at artnet.com in New York City from 2000 to 2009, and is now a functional analyst at Razorfish, a website-development agency.

The groom was born in Lima, Peru, and graduated from Lindenhurst High School in Long Island, N.Y. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Hofstra University in 2003 and worked with Kate at artnet.com until 2008. He is now a senior web developer at the Ogilvy & Mather advertising agency in New York City.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii. They live in Douglaston, N.Y.
