Ten finalists competed in a football toss contest last Saturday at Eskimo Joe’s for a chance to win a trip for two to the Big XII Championship game in Kansas City and/or a 2006 Toyota Tundra.
The finalists met at Eskimo Joe’s on Saturday, Nov. 25th at 10:30 a.m. and competed in a football toss contest. The winner of the football toss contest, Stillwater resident Woody Smith, won a trip for two to the Big XII Championship Game package in Kansas City from Dr. Pepper.
He then had a chance to win a 2006 Toyota Tundra from Janzen Toyota. Smith had to throw the football 40-yards and the football had to land inside the truck. Although he didn’t win the truck, Smith will be heading to Kansas City for the Big XII Championship Game, University of Oklahoma vs. Nebraska.
The trip giveaway was part of a promotion that Eskimo Joe’s, Mexico Joe’s, Joseppi’s Italian Kitchen, Dr. Pepper and Janzen Cadillac Toyota, started in August. Each home football game four winners were drawn and each winner received two tickets to an OSU home football game and an OSU football signed by head coach Mike Gundy. All of the entries were combined at the end of the promotion and ten finalists were drawn to participate in the football toss contest for a chance to win a trip for two to the Big XII Championship game in Kansas City and/or a 2006 Toyota Tundra .
“Congratulations to Woody Smith - the winner of a trip for two to the Big XII Championship Game!” said Stan Clark, Eskimo Joe’s President and Founder. “And special thanks to all of our finalists, Dr. Pepper and Janzen Toyota for making this promotion so much fun!”
