U.S. Marshals arrested a man in Stillwater who is accused of a kidnapping in Oklahoma County.
Jim Bob Queen, 33, was arrested at about noon Wednesday near Sixth Avenue and Main Street, Deputy U.S. Marshal Callen Stephens said.
Marshals followed a car registered to a woman Queen had been staying with in Stillwater, Stephens said. Stillwater police and Payne County sheriff’s deputies pulled over the car, and Stephens made the arrest, he said.
Stephens said he didn’t know the specifics of the kidnapping complaint, but said it was “basically a domestic deal.” Details on the crime could not be obtained from Oklahoma County law enforcement by press time today.
Queen was taken to Payne County Jail. He was taken to Oklahoma County Jail Thursday, a Payne County jailer said.
