Team members at Joseppi’s Italian Kitchen worked together this holiday season to make Christmas extra special for more than 35 “Littles” of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Joseppi’s Italian Kitchen and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Stillwater hosted the seventh annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Christmas Breakfast Dec. 16.

Children of all ages enjoyed breakfast at Joseppi’s and Santa stopped by with presents for all the children. More than 100 people, including 35 BBBS Littles, their Bigs and members of their families attended.

“Joseppi’s is honored to host the Big Brothers Big Sisters Christmas Breakfast each year,” said Amy Jackson, Joseppi’s general manager.

“We couldn’t think of a better time of the year to help bring a smile to the faces of so many children.”

“We are grateful to Joseppi’s for hosting this event,” said Amy Hoggatt, Big Brothers Big Sisters district director. “All of the Littles were very excited to see Santa Claus!”

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a Stillwater Area United Way agency and provides mentoring for children at risk between the ages of five-17. These kids are matched with carefully screened, caring volunteers. This relationship is supported by the professional case managers at Big Brothers Big Sisters.
