Brad Keller along with his wife, Carol, will be planting a brand new church in Perkins, with their first services scheduled Aug. 22-24, 7 p.m. nightly in the Oak Park Retreat Center, 805 East Kirk Street. The series of services are being called “Destiny Encounter – three days of discovering your destiny.” There will be a praise and worship band (contemporary style of worship) along with preaching from Keller.

The name of the church will be called Destiny Christian Center and it will be a spirit-filled, charismatic, independent church. The Kellers are being sent out and sponsored by Cathedral of Praise World Outreach Center ( located in Oklahoma City. The bishop/overseer of Destiny Christian Center will be Bishop Tony Miller ( who has ministered in the Stillwater/ Perkins area many times in the past.

The Kellers began praying about a church plant in the Stillwater area but after making several trips to the area they began to shift their emphasis more specifically to the Perkins area. In the future, the church will launch out to have a presence in Stillwater. This is the second church plant the Kellers have started. Their first church plant was in Prairie du Chien WI and they pastored that church from 1988-2005.

Brad has been in the ministry full-time for over 27 years with 25 of those years pastoring churches in North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. He and his wife, Carol, have been married for 21 years. Prior to their marriage, both were single parents raising two daughters each. After raising their four daughters, the Kellers adopted a special needs girl in 2000. She is currently eight years old. In addition to their five daughters, they have five grandchildren.

Brad has worked for Destiny World Outreach ( based out of Oklahoma City for the past three years. Destiny World Outreach is a para church ministry that trains leaders in leadership principles through conferences and seminars both nationally and internationally.

In addition to training leaders in the United States, Brad has trained leaders in such countries as Mexico, Ukraine, India, Nepal, Poland, Cambodia and Croatia.

The Kellers’ passion is to raise up leaders and empower them by helping them discover their unique factor (spiritual gifts, passion, talent, skill and life’s experiences). Brad believes everyone can be a leader and helping people discover their destiny by design is what he lives for.

Brad received his BA at North Central University in MPLS MN in pastoral studies.

He recently completed his master’s in leadership from Southwestern Christian University in Oklahoma City and is presently enrolled in the pre-doctorate program at ORU. He is also certified as a Life Coach from Transformation Leadership Coaching International.
