Summer reading is well under way. Hundreds of reading prizes have already been claimed, and librarians want older readers to know that the coveted Chris’ University Spirit coupons for a free summer reading logo are available this year for adults. Just read five hours, then claim a coupon as your prize. Readers take a blank shirt and the coupon to Chris’ where they will apply the unicorn-in-space logo for free. Then you’ll have a snazzy shirt to wear when you attend some of the programs happening next week:
On Monday, June 10, 5:30-7 p.m., our four part Biblio Bistro series on healthy cooking for diabetes begins. “Live Well, Eat Well, Be Active with Diabetes” will explain how to navigate a healthy diabetic lifestyle with tasty dishes and learning tools.
