Oklahoma State has entered the top 10 of the College Football Playoff selection committee's rankings.
The CFP unveiled its updated standings Tuesday night, and OSU checked in at No. 10. After storming past West Virginia 24-3 on the road, the Cowboys moved up one spot from their 11th-place ranking in the inaugural poll.
OSU is one of three Big 12 Conference teams in the CFP poll. Holding steady at No. 8, Oklahoma is the highest-ranked Big 12 program. As a result of dropping a 30-28 game to TCU during the past weekend, Baylor fell one spot to No. 13.
For the second straight week, Georgia is No. 1 in the rankings.
The Cowboys (8-1 overall, 5-1 Big 12) have three-regular season games left, and next, they will face the Horned Frogs at 7 p.m. Saturday in Boone Pickens Stadium.
