ROLAND, Ark. — Oklahoma State rising junior Austin Eckroat will begin action for the American side on Friday at the Arnold Palmer Cup, which will take place June 7-9 at The Alotian Club.

A three-day Ryder Cup-style event, the Palmer Cup is contested between the U.S. and an international side with each team consisting of 12 men's and 12 women's golfers. This year's event will get underway on Friday with mixed fourball matches. Saturday will consist of morning mixed foursomes and afternoon foursomes. Sunday's singles matches will conclude the event.

For Eckroat, the event will begin a summer slate which will also include a start at next week's U.S. Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links.
