IRVING, Texas — Oklahoma State's Matthew Wolff was named the Big 12 Golfer of the Month for February it was announced today by the league office. The distinction marks the second time Wolff has received the honor during his career.

Wolff was honored after earning his fourth consecutive full-field victory at the Amer Ari Invitational, finishing at 18-under 198. In the process, he helped the top-ranked Cowboys to the team title, which was their third of the season. The California native now owns the school record for victories by a sophomore and the school mark for consecutive victories.

Wolff also made his first PGA Tour start, where he made the cut at the Waste Management Phoenix Open after carding rounds of 67, 70, 72, 72 for a 3-under total of 281 to tie for 50th place.

He ended the month with a stroke average of 68.83.
