In Ft. Worth, Texas, senior Moira Steyn turned in a Regional qualifying mark in the long jump at the TCU Invitational over the weekend.

Steyn, the sixth Oklahoma State athlete to qualify for the postseason, jumped 19-09 to finish second on Saturday.

O-State claimed four of the top five spots in the triple jump led by Zivile Siksnelyte’s 41-08 to earn top honors. Baiba Blumbaha was third with Mateja Posavec and Moria Steyn also among the top five.

Alina Roman led Cowgirl throwers at the Kansas Relays in Lawrence, Kan. The junior, already a Regional qualifier, tossed 165-09 to take fourth in the discus. Deleanor Kirkpatrick was eighth in the hammer throw, while LaKendra Greathouse was eighth in the shot.

OSU competes in the Nebraska Invitational on May 5.
