EDMOND — Central Oklahoma’s Anthony Brown was selected as a first-team member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II All-South Central Regional Team that was released Thursday.

The 6-foot-7 senior forward from Stillwater led the Bronchos to a 20-8 record and a runner-up finish in the Lone Star Conference North Division this season, earning first-team All-LSC North Division honors for the second consecutive season.

Brown averaged 20.3 points and 7.6 rebounds a game while shooting 58.9 percent from the field and was one of just three players in the 15-team LSC to rank in the top 10 in those three categories. He scored 30-plus points in five games this year and had seven double-doubles (points-rebounds).

Brown finished with 569 points to rank 13th on UCO’s single-season scoring list and ended his two-year career 29th on the school’s all-time scoring chart with 1,090 points.
